The Rampant Lion Flap

$70.00

Originating during the reign of Malcolm III in the 11th century, the Rampant Lion was adopted as the Royal Banner of Scotland in the 13th century and used by Kings and Queens of Scotland for hundreds of years. The Rampant Lion remains a key fixture in the modern Royal Standard of the United Kingdom to this day, as well as the Royal Banner of Canada, and the personal Standard of the Dukes of Rothesay. No other symbol captures the centuries of history and royal majesty of Scotland as well as the Rampant Lion.

Though the Rampant Lion is, by royal decree, original to its red and yellow roots, Celtic Leatherworks proudly offers this design in a combination of historically inspired leather finishes.
